Under the Same Sky

Video, Collected Sand, Cardboard, Found objects on Old Brandenton Rd
The video projection of people walking under the constantly moving beam of green light, 'Under the same sky' merges the physicality of site-specific materials with a fictional bird-eye view. Sand, cardboard, and paper strips printed with images from Google Maps are arranged in a grid system. The found objects during my walk on Old Bradenton Road were placed on the sand mural to mark the presence of the real site on this fictional map.
