3047 E Tamiami Cir, Sarasota, FL 34234, is an address of a house that no longer exist.
Built in 1952, the house was a single family home of 1,704 sq ft, and was listed as sold on the public records in 2020. Along with all the neighboring houses on East Tamiami Circle, the land was bought to be turned into a parking lot.
The projected sunset view was a time-lapsed video captured from an interior of a 3D-modeled house, made after photographs captured and archived in Google Maps. The internet became the only space where this disappearance and displacement are remembered. Regenerating the sunset scene, a universally shared experience of ephemera through a fictional architectural construction, this visual experience became layers of fiction made to retrace the disappearance of habitation and fading memories of the residents who quietly moved away from the rapidly developing seaside town of Sarasota, Florida.
